Green Mobility from Coca-Cola Bottling Shqipëria
“Our Role for a Greener Albania”
Coca-Cola Bottling Shqipëria presents its fleet of 56 cars – 100% electric, which will reduce the 178 tons of CO2 emitted each year, an amount equal to the absorption of 13,327 trees per year.
“Green Mobility” is an initiative funded entirely by Coca-Cola Bottling Shqipëria, which aims to improve air quality. Starting in Tirana, the electric fleet will be extended throughout Albania, thus serving as an inspiration for individuals, diverse communities, businesses and public institutions to join the journey towards a greener lifestyle.
Taking this initiative represents a substantial improvement in the day-to-day operations of the CCBS, naturally taken after a series of activities applied over the years within the context of an approach to a greener lifestyle.
Some of these activities are:
- planting 1,000 trees in the CCBS premises and another 30 at the Lake of Tirana;
- 21 tons of waste cleaned within 1 year;
- Facilitate the activity of the Parks and Recreation Agency by donating an electric car;
- Recycling of 50% of plastic through rPET methodology;
- Continuous investment in the use of reusable bottles.
Following the 6-year success of “Green Mobility” in Italy, Coca-Cola supports and encourages Albania in its green activity.

The Green Mobility investment is a real contribution and example that raises awareness of the role we all have in the environment.

CCBS President Mr. Luca Busi underlined the need for a national infrastructure, with charging points and support for the necessary regulatory measures for electric car users, environmental impacts and for the well-being of Albanians as a whole.
It is worth noting that CCBS is the first company to put into operation an entire fleet of electric cars in Tirana, hence taking the first step towards the largest electric car coverage project of the entire fleet in Albania.
