CCBS is looking for suitable candidates for the position of: Warehouse Assistant
Job Purpose
The main responsibility of this role is to ensure the accurate physical and system-based management of finished products by maintaining stock accuracy, complying with FIFO/FEFO principles, preparing loads correctly, and providing continuous support to the sales and distribution process.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Prepares orders according to loading lists.
- Ensures accurate picking, proper palletisation, and correct labelling.
- Supports the truck-loading process in cooperation with forklift operators.
- Transfers products between the factory warehouse and the external warehouse according to the warehouse keeper’s instructions.
- Ensures that transfers are accurately recorded in the system. Identifies damaged, non-compliant, or potentially defective products.
- Physically isolates problematic products and immediately notifies the supervisor.
- Follows procedures for blocked products and products returned from the market.
- Participates in daily, cycle, and monthly inventory counts.
- Supports internal audit and stock-control processes.
- Maintains order, cleanliness, and organisation within the warehouse area.
- Complies with occupational health and safety (H&S) regulations.
- Uses work equipment and tools correctly.
- Follows internal procedures and operational guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary education; a university degree is considered an advantage.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge of a foreign language, particularly Italian and/or English, is considered an advantage.
