CCBS is supporting the recruitment process for the position of “Logistics and Warehouse Manager” for one of the Group’s companies, Uji i Ftohtë Tepelenë (UFT).
Job Purpose
The position plans, coordinates, and monitors all logistics and warehouse activities, ensuring the proper flow of materials and products—including finished goods, raw materials, spare parts, and packaging—within warehouses located both inside and outside the company. The role ensures compliance with deadlines, quantities, and quality standards, as well as the accuracy and timely completion of all reports and documentation.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Operational Objectives:
- Efficiently manage logistics processes, including customs clearance, warehousing, internal handling, inter-warehouse transfers, transportation, and distribution.
- Ensure the proper operation and organisation of all warehouse locations, guaranteeing a smooth flow of materials and optimising space and resources.
- Optimise and reduce logistics and warehouse-management costs through continuous process improvements.
2. Quality Objectives:
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards for all stored materials.
- Reduce inventory errors, discrepancies, and non-conformities.
- Continuously improve warehousing processes.
- Ensure the satisfaction of internal and external customers through efficient and well-organised warehouse operations.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Take responsibility for logistics and warehouse processes, ensuring compliance with deadlines, quantities, and quality requirements.
- Optimise and reduce logistics and available-resource costs by continuously proposing improvement measures.
- Coordinate all warehouse activities, both internal and external, including:
- Monitoring and managing physical inventory;
- Handling products internally;
- Transferring goods between warehouses as required;
- Optimally organising warehouse space;
- Monitoring storage conditions and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Plan and supervise logistics activities related to the transportation of raw materials, finished products, and spare parts, working with suppliers and carriers within and outside Albania.
- Coordinate material flows between production, warehouses, and internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Optimise transportation times and costs.
- Ensure that all documentation, invoices, and customs declarations are accurate and comply with applicable regulations and trade agreements.
- Review the monthly invoices of transportation service providers and verify their consistency with the quantities handled.
- Monitor the performance of logistics service providers and propose corrective measures when necessary.
- Supervise warehouse staff and forklift operators, ensuring compliance with standard procedures.
- Report any issues to the Production Operations Manager.
- Participate in other projects or assignments as required.
- Implement workplace safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional experience in logistics, warehousing, or operations management, preferably within a manufacturing company.
- Knowledge of transportation and warehousing processes, as well as customs documentation.
- Strong organisational, planning, and team-management skills.
- Analytical skills and a focus on process and cost optimisation.
- Knowledge of industry quality and safety standards.
- Good command of English or Italian.
- Residence in Tepelenë or the surrounding areas.
