Press Release: On the Sale of Unauthorized Coca-Cola Products in the Albanian Market

Following recent media reports about Coca-Cola products imported from Serbia and other countries, such as Turkey and Poland, and sold in Albania through unauthorized channels, we would like to clarify that Coca-Cola Bottling Shqipëria (CCBS) is the only official partner authorized by The Coca-Cola Company to produce, bottle, and distribute its product portfolio in the Albanian market.

As the official partner, CCBS guarantees full compliance with local legislation. All products are labeled in the Albanian language, providing clear and essential information on ingredients, production dates, expiration dates, and proper storage conditions. This ensures product safety, transparency, and quality for every consumer in every market across the country.

In addition, products manufactured in Albania generate a direct economic contribution to the local market. Through a sustainable business model, CCBS supports job creation, local suppliers, and economic growth, contributing to the country’s GDP and long-term development.

We would like to emphasize that our primary objective is to operate as a responsible and law-abiding company, fully committed to serving Albanian consumers with safe, high-quality products.

At the same time, it is important to note that products circulating illegally—often without labels in Albanian and without state control—can have a negative impact on both consumer safety and the national economy.

Coca-Cola Bottling Shqipëria actively supports local production, working closely with Albanian suppliers, employees, partners, and distributors, and offering products that are truly “more Albanian than you think.”

We regret that consumers may be exposed to uncontrolled and unauthorized products. In this regard, we reaffirm our full cooperation with Albanian authorities and consumer protection organizations to ensure a swift and effective resolution to this issue.
