Celebrations at the Pyramid and a Live Concert in Mother Teresa Square
Tirana, 20 May 2024 – Coca-Cola marked 30 years of presence in Albania, celebrating its journey as a brand deeply rooted in the Albanian lifestyle and a proud contributor to the country’s economic development.
The anniversary was officially celebrated on 19 May at the Pyramid of Tirana, the exact date when the production plant first began operations in 1994. The event was honored by the presence of Prime Minister Mr. Edi Rama, along with representatives of institutions, clients, and partners.

The Pyramid, a symbol that bridges Albania’s past with its vision for the future, was chosen as a meaningful location to reflect on the company’s journey—from its beginnings in the 1990s to today’s continuous growth and investments. As the official bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company in Albania, Coca-Cola Bottling Shqipëria (CCBS) used the occasion to highlight its long-term commitment to innovation, economic contribution, and sustainability.
During the ceremony, the Prime Minister shared his reflections on the unique relationship built over the past three decades between the global Coca-Cola brand and Albania. The moment concluded with a celebratory toast, featuring limited-edition Coca-Cola cans created specifically for the anniversary.

Following the institutional celebration, the festivities continued with a public concert in Mother Teresa Square. Music became the highlight of the evening, as thousands of fans gathered to celebrate with performances by some of Albania’s most popular artists, including Elvana Gjata, Ylli Limani and McKresha, bringing to life the spirit of “Real Magic” that Coca-Cola creates in shared moments, from concerts to football matches.

Luca Busi, President of Coca-Cola Bottling Shqipëria, stated:
“We are proud and honored by the Prime Minister’s presence and grateful for his recognition of Coca-Cola’s bond with Albania. This anniversary is not only about celebrating the past, but about strengthening our vision for the future—continuing to contribute to economic growth while advancing our sustainability commitments.”
Phillipine Mtikitiki, Vice President Operations for Italy and Albania at The Coca-Cola Company, added:
“Coca-Cola’s success in every market comes from close collaboration with our bottling partners, their deep connection with local consumers, and their ability to adapt to local tastes. We are proud that over the last 30 years Coca-Cola has become so deeply Albanian, thanks to the dedication of CCBS teams and the people of Albania who choose a Coke in their everyday moments of refreshment and celebration.”
As part of the anniversary, Coca-Cola launched a dedicated campaign celebrating this milestone and reinforcing its connection with the country, built around the message: “For every cheer we had, others will come.” The campaign highlighted the brand’s presence in everyday moments and major national milestones alike.
A limited-edition packaging featuring the 30th anniversary logo was also introduced. Ninety consumers who participated in the promotion enjoyed exclusive rewards, including special backstage access to the concert, making the celebration even more memorable.
